Course Drop and Withdrawal Policy
Any master-level or certificate student requesting to drop before or during the first week of class should submit the Course Drop form.
Any master-level or certificate student requesting to drop after the first week of class must communicate the intent to withdraw with his/her instructor(s) and obtain documentation of the instructor’s awareness of the student’s plans. The student should then complete the Course Drop form and attach all paperwork to the request form.
For extenuating circumstances, and only upon approval from the instructor, a student may be given the option to request an incomplete grade and allowed extra time to complete the course. See the Incomplete Policy for details.
Refunds of tuition due to an official course drop or withdrawal request will be made according to the refund schedule below. The request must be made officially through the Course Drop form to receive a partial or full refund of tuition, or a credit against an amount owed. Technology fees are not refundable.
